Erickson Residence

kitchen, library & entry

The project entailed remodeling an existing kitchen and family room space — one that hid structural Douglas fir beams behind a dropped ceiling. Anchored by massive columns, nestled at the center of the house, and opened to the surrounding spaces, this kitchen has become a warm, clearly organized, and efficient working space; open to the adjacent living spaces, natural light, and views. The entry foyer, powder room, and outdoor space were also remodeled. The kitchen has cherry cabinets, and fir for the family room bookcases.
